Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help reduce the depth of surface lines, smooth rough skin texture, treat skin discoloration and redness, and assist in clearing acne/blemished skin. The products in our chemical peels loosen dead cells from the skin’s surface, revealing new, healthy cells and resulting in smooth, radiant, glowing skin. For our Enhanced Jessner’s and Blended TCA peels, Eden Medispa uses professional chemical peel products from PCA SKIN, a leader in the development of professional chemical peels for over 20 years. Our aestheticians have all been certified by PCA SKIN, including completion of their advanced skin biology and chemical peel seminar.

Enhanced Jessner's Peels: These light-to-medium depth peel formulas effectively exfoliate with blends of lactic, citric and salicylic acids and resorcinol, while bleaching and inhibiting pigment production with kojic acid and hydroquinone (where indicated). These peels help repair and reduce breakouts, control oil, soften lines and provide a more even, smoother skin texture. Our aesthetician will choose from one of three formulations- with or without hydroquinone - that are most suitable for your skin type and sensitivity.

Blended TCA Peel: These skin-friendly yet effective peels address many skin conditions without the discomfort and downtime associated with traditional TCA (Trichloroacetic acid) peels. Our blended TCA peel contain a variety of beneficial ingredients to help treat acne, skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation), and fine lines and wrinkles, while leaving the skin plump and hydrated. We will choose from a range of options from very gentle, for sensitive or darker skin types, to more active formulations, for resilient skin and the skin on the body.

Skin Lightening Treatment – Peel and At-Home Regimen System The Skin Lightening System is specifically designed to improve the texture and appearance of hyperpigmented skin, and involves a medicated Hydroquinone and Retinoid masque followed by an at-home regimen (with a one-month supply of treatment products). This peel is especially effective for melasma as well as sun damage, hyperpigmentation, texture and acne scars, and works for all skin types. The masque is compounded and applied at our office to ensure its potency and reliability, and you will also be given a product kit and instructions for a home regime to use after your peel. Of all the chemical peels offered at Eden, this treatment is the strongest and can offer our clients the most dramatic results for skin pigmentation issues. The Skin Lightening Treatment also comes in a MiniPeel version, which also includes an at-home regime. The MiniPeel is not formulated as strongly as the full Peel, and can be applied more frequently.
